Award Winners: The 2019 Automobl Value Awards

The road ahead

Who Will Be the Value Award Winners for 2019?

As 2019 comes to a close, it seems that award winners are a dime-a-dozen. At Automobl, we take a value-based approach to vehicle comparison. Let’s look at the vehicles available in 2019 to determine which vehicles offer exceptional Automobl value.   We have made a selection of top selling vehicles for 2019 in multiple categories. Then, we evaluated the Automobl Value Advantage of each one using the Automobl Comparison Tool.

Categories

How did we do it? First, we assessed up to five vehicles from each category. Second, we took what we believe is the most value-laden and popular model and trim for each vehicle. Third, we pitted one against the other using the Automobl Value Comparison Tool. Where possible, we tried to get close to a similar price for each category so that a vehicle couldn’t win on price alone. Finally, the vehicle that ‘wins’ the most comparisons is the winner of our Automobl Value Award for the segment.

The competition in some categories was fierce. There’s one vehicle that dusted the competition in the Compact Sedan category. We have what we think will be a surprise winner to many of you in the Mid-size Sedan category. Three categories of SUVs: Compact, Mid-size and Large were hotly contested, and we do have a winner for each. The Full-size SUV category, was, as you’d expect, a slug-fest.

Here are the nominees. Make your own picks, and see how you do as we reveal the winners over the next two weeks.
