Ride, acceleration and handling: Ride and handling are excellent. Acceleration literally moves from okay to superior. You have to drive it to believe it.

Advice/Suggestions on Brakes? - BMW Forum - BimmerWerkz.com
Hv 99 M3 cabrio that I need new rotors & pads for. I've seen several different opinions on what to get. (Stock/OE replcmnt, slotted, drilled rotors) & pads (Hawk HPS, Akebono Euro ceramic, stock.oe rplcmnt). I do not track/autocross. Mainly wknd driver that I will drive spiritedly at times. Any suggestions on what set up to get. The Akebono Euros (which I have in combination with plain Brembo rotors) are horrible for the first couple hundred miles since it feels like you're never going to stop, but once they bed in properly they stop very very well; very linear feel; initial bite isn't as great as with Pagid or Jurid or some other pad that came OEM on our cars, but honestly it is still very good. Better than the Textars that came off my car anyway. There is virtually no dust at all; you can go like a 1000 miles on them and not have noticeable dust on the wheels.
