2009 Audi A4 - An All New Audi
Completely redesigned for 2009, the entry-level Audi A4 comes in convertible (Cabriolet), sedan and wagon (the Avant) body styles. The 2009 Audi A4 delivers more power, improved fuel economy, adds the unique Quattro all-wheel-drive and witnesses several changes in exterior styling. Its competitors in this segment include BMW 3 Series and the Acura TSX.
Power and Performance
A4 Sedans and wagons are available in three trim levels with the 2.0-liter turbo – base Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. New on the 2009 Audi A4 is a pair of direct-injection engines - a 211-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder inline on all models and an optional 265-horsepower, 3.2-liter V6 on the sedan. The same engines equipped inside the convertible deliver 200 horsepower and 255 horses, respectively. Sedans and wagons come with Audi’s standard Quattro AWD system and a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. The 2.0 T convertible is available with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission or Quattro AWD and a six-speed automatic. All models of the A4 give a fuel economy of 21/27 mpg (city/highway). The 2009 A4 races to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds and its electronically controlled top speed is 130 mph.
